Zip Cleaning started as an after school job – a way for me to make some pocket money by helping my grandmother, my great-grandmother and their elderly friends and neighbours. In fact, it was my great-grandmother Beatrice who gave me the push to start Zip Cleaning shortly before she passed away from breast cancer.
(You might have noticed the pink theme of our website – we like to show our support for breast cancer sufferers here, close to home and all over the world. We work in partnership with ‘Cleaning for a Reason’, helping cancer patients in need of a hand.)
Since that time, the company and our client base have continued to grow. I now employ a wonderful team of cleaners who share my passion to provide a professional and reliable service to our clients. Making money is important to any business, but at Zip Cleaning it has never been the bottom line. In ten years, our top priority hasn’t changed -
We’re here to help.
If that means donating our time to help out at our local nursing homes, helping elderly people or cancer sufferers in the neighbourhood to keep their homes clean and tidy, then that’s our job.
Similarly, if it means cleaning your home, de-cluttering your storage or tidying your office, while you find the time to do what matters most to you, then we help there too.
I still love what I do – I love helping out others – and it’s that personal touch, Zip Cleaning’s caring approach to the service we provide that sets us apart from our big competitors. For us, there’s nothing better than seeing the faces of our satisfied customers.
We care about our work and we make it our business to care about you: your home, your workplace, your family, your time.
We’re always here to help!
